On the appropriate template, in the Surgical History or Orthopedic Surgical History section, select the procedure to be edited or removed from the grid.
To edit the selected procedure, do the following:
Click Edit below the corresponding grid.
The IORTS Px Edit Detail window opens.
Make the desired changes.
Note: The CPT4 field is read-only. The Global Date field is automatically filled based on the surgery date for the procedures documented in the patient history sections on the Surgery Coding, Single Fx, and Multi Fx templates.
Click Update.
The updated details appear in the grid.
To remove the selected procedure, click Remove below the corresponding grid, and then select Added in Error from the list.
The procedure is removed from the grid.
Note: You must be on the encounter where the procedure is added, to remove the selected procedure. Otherwise, a message appears stating that the procedure can be removed only from the encounter where it is added.
