You can document the details of a patient's missed appointment and track action items.
- Open the Missed Appointment template.
- Click the Provider field, select the name of the provider from the providers window, and then click OK.
The calendar window opens for selecting the date of the appointment.
- Select the date from the calendar window, and click OK.
A picklist opens for selecting the reason for visit.
- Select the reason for visit from the list.
- Select the reason for the missed appointment.
- Select the appropriate option for # of Prior No Shows.
- Enter the actions for clinical staff, response from the provider, and actions of the scheduler.
- Click Save & Close in the workflow tab.
The documented details are saved, and the Missed Appointment template closes.
