Document Responses from the Provider
You can document your responses as the provider for a patient's missed appointment.
- On the Missed Appointment template, expand the Provider Response panel.
- To overbook an appointment, do the following:
- Select the Ok to Overbook option.
The Add New Task window opens for overbooking the next appointment.
- Assign the task to the desired user.
A window opens for entering the duration to overbook the appointment.
- Enter the duration in days, weeks, or months.
Your name and the current date and time are automatically filled in the corresponding fields.
- Select the Ok to Overbook option.
- To book an appointment in the next available slot, do the following:
- Select the Next Available option.
The Add New Task window opens for rescheduling the appointment.
- Assign the task to the desired user.
Your name and the current date and time are automatically filled in the corresponding fields.
- Select the Next Available option.
- If rescheduling is not required, select the No Need to Resch, Not Post-op, ER option.
Your name and the current date and time are automatically filled in the corresponding fields.
- Enter your comments in the Comments field.
- To terminate the patient visit, do one of the following:
- Select the appropriate option to terminate the patient visit from your care or from your practice.
A picklist opens for selecting the reason.
- Select the appropriate reason from the list.
The Add New Task window opens for terminating the patient visit.
- Assign the task to the desired user.
The missed appointment summary document is automatically generated.
- Select the appropriate option to terminate the patient visit from your care or from your practice.
