link.

Complete the Missed Appointment Form
You can document the details of a patient's missed appointment and track action items. Open the Missed Appointment template. Click the Provider field, select the name of the provider from the providers window, and then click OK. The calendar window opens for selecting the date of the appointment. Select the date from the calendar window, and click OK. A picklist opens for selecting the reason for visit. Select the reason for visit from the list. Select the reason for the missed appointment. Select the appropriate option for # of Prior No Shows. Enter the actions for clinical staff, response from the provider, and actions of the scheduler. Click Save & Close in the workflow tab. The documented details are saved, and the Missed Appointment template closes. Access the Non-Billable Visit Template
You can access the Non Billable Visit template from the Home template. On the Home template, click the Non-Billable tab. The Navigation window opens. Documenting Missed Appointment Details
If a patient misses an appointment, you can document the reason and track action items. You can use the Missed Appointment template to track action items and document the details of a patient's missed appointment. Missed Appointment template The following table describes the panels on the Missed Appointment template. Panel Description Clinical Staff To document the actions for clinical staff and create tasks for clinical staff, scheduler, and provider. Provider Response To document the provider's response for the missed appointment, rescheduling the appointment, and terminating the patient from that provider’s care or from the practice. Scheduler Actions To track contact attempts with the patient, any scheduling notes, and documents sent to the patient. Document Actions of the Scheduler
You can document your actions as the scheduler for a patient's missed appointment. On the Missed Appointment template, expand the Scheduler Actions panel. Scheduler Actions panel on the Missed Appointment template Indicate if the patient does not want to reschedule the appointment. If the appointment is scheduled, do the following: Select the Appointment made with check box. A window opens for selecting the provider. Select the provider with whom the appointment is scheduled. A calendar window opens for selecting the date of the appointment. Select the date from the calendar window, and click OK. To enter the current time, click the Clock icon icon. To enter a specific time, click the Down arrow icon icon, enter the time in the time entry window, and then click OK. Indicate if the patient is notified by phone for rescheduling the appointment. Indicate any unsuccessful phone calls to the patient for rescheduling the appointment. Your name and the current date and time are automatically
