Add New Diagnoses from the Common Assessment Template

The Diagnosis grid displays the patient’s diagnoses. The grid defaults to Orthopedic to show Orthopedic-specific diagnoses. The Medical options displays other clinical diagnoses. Click Add under the grid to launch the Common Assessment template. Select a diagnosis to add to the patient’s history. Click Save & Close. Assessment and Plan for Multiple Fracture

The Assessment and Plan panel on the FC Multiple FX enables the provider to submit up to three fracture care diagnoses codes, with procedure codes and details for each. It also allows you to document the plan for each code, verbal counseling, and next visit information. It provides quick links to cast or splint, DME, and office procedures. Add Today’s Diagnosis

To add a diagnosis for today’s visit, select the diagnosis in the Diagnosis grid. The diagnosis appears in a field under Today’s Diagnosis. Repeat step 1 for all diagnoses you want to list for today’s encounter. To associate one or more of the selected diagnoses with this plan, select the Dx for This Plan check box for all applicable listed diagnoses. Note: If a diagnosis is not listed in the Diagnosis grid, click Add to open the Common Assessments template or Problem IT to open the IMO template. Add the Patient's Diagnoses

You can add a diagnosis to the grid in either of two ways. If you are licensed for Problem Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) functionality, click the Problem IT button under the grid to launch IMO to add a diagnosis. To use the Inf Common Assessment template, click the Add button under the Diagnosis grid. Select Orthopedic to add an orthopedic-specific diagnosis or the Medical option for all other diagnoses. Click Add under the Diagnosis grid. The Inf Common Assessment template opens. If the template is blank or you want to use a different common assessment, click the Common Assessments field, select a page from the picklist and click OK. Headers and categories are in bold font Items with a plus sign open picklists or code options to choose from Anything with a Description and Code enters directly into the grid. Add a New Diagnosis

You can add a diagnosis for today’s visit. On the Assessment and Plan panel, to filter the patient's diagnoses, select one of the following options above the Diagnosis grid: Orthopedic Medical Click Add under the Diagnosis grid to launch the Common Assessment template or click ProblemIT if using IMO. Assessment and Plan (MDM) Panel

The Assessment and Plan panel enables the provider to select the diagnosis for today’s plan, and enter today’s plan, next visit information, and verbal counseling.
