View the Audit Log for a Previously Documented Provider Communication

You can view edited or deleted records and the modifications for provider communication on the Provider Communication Audit Log template. The upper grid displays Provider Communication records for the patient. When you select a communication record in the upper grid, all changes or updates for the selected communication appear in the lower Audit Log grid.

  1. Do one of the following to open the Provider Communication panel or template:
    • On the Assessment/Plan-OPH template, expand the Provider Communication panel.
    • On the Provider-OPH template, scroll to the bottom and click the Provider Comm. button.
    The Provider Communication template opens.
  2. Do one of the following to select a communication record:
    • On the Provider Communication panel or template, select a record in the grid and click the Audit Log link.

      The Provider Communication Audit Log template opens. The record selected on the Provider Communication panel or template appears in the upper Provider Communications grid.

    • On the Provider Communication panel or template, click the Audit Log link to open the Provider Communication Audit Log template. Select a record in the upper Provider Communication grid.
      Any changes previously made to the record in the upper grid appear as records in the lower Audit Log grid. If no changes were made to the record, the lower grid is empty.

  3. Records in the upper Provider Communication grid can be filtered by selecting one of the Show options: All, Active, or Deleted.
  4. To view the audit log for another communication, select the option ShowActive’ records and highlight the row with the communication you wish to view.
  5. After reviewing the audit log records for provider communication records, click Close.
