Update a Previously Documented Provider Communication

Previously documented provider communications can be edited and updated from the Provider Communication panel or template.

  1. Do one of the following to open the Provider Communication panel or template:
    • On the Assessment/Plan-OPH template, expand the Provider Communication panel.
    • On the Provider-OPH template, scroll to the bottom and click the Provider Comm. button.
    The Provider Communication template opens.
  2. The Date field automatically displays today’s date.
    • To select another date, click the Date field and select a date from the on-screen calendar.
  3. Highlight the row to update in the Provider Communication grid.
    Details for the row appear in the fields above the grid.
  4. Make changes as appropriate using the fields.
  5. Click the Add/Update button.
    The updated communication appears in the Provider Communication grid and includes the following information for the audit log: the Date and Time the edit was done, the Status field displays edited, the Edited by field displays the name of the user who edited the record, and the Audit values field displays the values that changed between the previous entry and the current one.
