Deny a Refill
Refill requests appear on your Refills view.
- In NextGen® Mobile, open the Hub module.
- Select Refill Requests.
The Refills view appears listing the refill requests. By default, the list is ordered from oldest to newest with the oldest on top of the list.
- In the Refills view, locate the patient and medication that you plan to deny.
The selected entry must be marked with Matched Refill.
- Select the patient entry.
The Refill Request view opens.
- Select Deny.
The Deny message appears.
- To add a non-clinical note to the pharmacy, select in the Add note to pharmacy and enter a text note in the field.
- Select the Reason for denying field and select a denial reason.
If none of the reasons apply, you can select Custom Denial Reason and select a custom denial reason in the eRx Custom Denial Reason field.
- Select Confirm Denial to confirm your denial and return to the Refill Request view.
