When you receive an eRx refill request and deny the request with the reason as Denial – New Prescription to follow, the Resolve Denied Refills link appears on the Send Prescription window.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Select a patient and open Medications module.
- Select a medication where the eRx refill request was denied with the Denial - New Prescription to follow reason.
- Select View Denied Refills.
The
Deny New To Follow window opens.
- Select Details to open and view the Refill Request Details window.
- Select Close.
- To remove the denied refill from the list, select Remove.
The Remove medication from queue window opens stating the confirmation message.
- Do one of the following:
- To remove the medication from the list, select Yes.
- To return to the Deny New to Follow window without removing the medication, select No.
- Select Close.
