Resolve Denied eRx Refill Request

When you receive an eRx refill request and deny the request with the reason as Denial – New Prescription to follow, the Resolve Denied Refills link appears on the Send Prescription window.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Select a patient and open Medications module.
  3. Select a medication where the eRx refill request was denied with the Denial - New Prescription to follow reason.
  4. Select View Denied Refills.

    The Deny New To Follow window opens.

  5. Select Details to open and view the Refill Request Details window.

  6. Select Close.
  7. To remove the denied refill from the list, select Remove.
    The Remove medication from queue window opens stating the confirmation message.
  8. Do one of the following:
    • To remove the medication from the list, select Yes.
    • To return to the Deny New to Follow window without removing the medication, select No.
  9. Select Close.
