When you select Submit, the following happens:
 
  - Ties the lot number(s) to the patient
 
  - Takes the medication(s) out of inventory
 
  - Locks the procedure record
 
  - Sends the information to the Procedures Module
 
  - Sends charges to NextGen® Enterprise PM
 
  - The Submitted By field displays the user’s name, the date and timestamp.
 
  - The Submit button disappears and becomes red text that says Submitted.
 
  - A Task button appears.
 
  - For users with administrative override rights, an Admin Override button appears.
 
 
 
 Note: Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Fluoroscopy used for Needle Placements are ordered and sent to the Orders module on the MICS Injection/Aspiration template. If the client only has NextGen® Medication Inventory Control, the charges are sent from the MICS Injection/Aspiration template. If the client has NextGen® Orthopedic Suite, the charges are sent to the Finalize Visit template for submission.
