Configuring Tasks

You can configure various automatic and manual tasks that are used on the medical record templates in NextGen® Medication Inventory Control.

you can configure the conditions and details of various tasks and add specific users or workgroups as task recipients for automatic tasks on the MICS Tasking Manager system template.

Tasking Manager template

The MICS Tasking Manager system template sends automatic tasks to the designated recipients while documenting details on the applicable medical record templates based on the task criteria. For using the manual tasks configured on the MICS Tasking Manager system template, you can select the task Task icon on the relevant medical record template. On the Add New Task window that opens, you can manually send the task to the designated recipients.

You can do the following on the MICS Tasking Manager system template.
  • You can view and manage all the tasks available for NextGen® Medication Inventory Control templates in the Tasks panel.
  • You can manage recipients for the tasks in the Task Options panel.
