Confirm Changes

Once you have decided which actions to perform you must confirm your changes for each clinical data type (Medications, Medication Allergies, and so on). Once you confirm your changes, the Clinical Reconciliation module updates the patient's chart. It does not update the information in the Import section or the imported document. Reconcile clinical data. Resolve Missing or Incorrect Data. Resolve duplicate items. Resolve medication contraindications or drug interactions. Acknowledge medication deletions. Initiate Confirmation of Changes

Process items in the Import section Process items in the EHR section. Match or unmatch clinical items as needed. To accept and apply the matches that you have made, select Confirm. Confirm Button If no problems occur, then the Clinical Reconciliation module processes the selected changes and displays a message stating that the selected changes were saved successfully. Alternately, a warning may appear, stating that the implantable devices to be imported contain linked procedures, and that you should complete the Procedures reconciliation prior to adding or replacing the implantable devices. Select one of the following: Select OK to import the implantable device is imported. The connection to the linked procedure is lost. Select Cancel to return to the Clinical Reconciliation module, where you can go to the Procedures tab and perform reconciliation for the linked procedure. Open the Full Reconciliation Module

You can use the full Clinical Reconciliation module rather than the one-click reconciliation feature for any of the following tasks: See the full set of data columns for each clinical item, rather than just the most commonly useful columns. Reconcile items from multiple Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) documents simultaneously. Reconcile resolved medications, allergies, or problems, not just the currently active items. Replace or delete any previously imported items. View reconciliation history. Reconcile a Single Item

Within each section, each item begins with an icon indicating the import status for that item. Import Status Icons Following are the icons that can appear, and the actions available for each. New New item. Select this button to open the one-click reconciliation window. Cannot Be Imported Item cannot be imported because it is missing critical data. Matched Item Item matched an item that is already in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To make any changes to this item, you must select the Import tab and use the full Clinical Reconciliation Module. Perform One-Click Reconciliation

After you have clicked on or hovered over the reconcile button in the heading for a section, the Reconcile All New <Items> window opens. The New <Items> pane shows the items that are available for import. Initially, the action for each item is set to Add, which means the item will be imported. Note: The titles of the window and the individual panes vary to reflect which C-CDA section you are reconciling. For example, if you are reconciling the Allergies section, the window title is Reconcile All New Allergies, and the upper right pane is named New Allergies. Actions for New Items To change the action for a new item, select the value in the Action column, and selectAdd or Ignore. Selecting the Action for a New Item After you have finalized your selection, select Confirm to import the selected items. The items that you removed from the selection are marked as ignored. One-Click Reconciliation

The one-click reconciliation feature enables you to import data from within the Custom View tab for the CDA that is currently open. This feature satisfies Meaningful Use Stage 3 rule §170.315(b)(2), "Clinical Information Reconciliation," including the ability to Simultaneously display the data from an external system and existing data in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Create a single reconciled list for each clinical data category, including medications, medication allergies, and problems. Review and validate the accuracy of a final set of data. The Custom View displays a Reconcile (reconcile) button next to each section heading and each individual item that is eligible for import. By hovering or clicking this button, you can open the one-click reconciliation window and confirm the import of selected items. The one-click reconciliation feature does not replace the full Clinical Reconciliation module, which continues to be available on the Import tab. One-click reconciliation is suitable for
