View Existing Patient Documents

You can view the existing patient documents on the Encounter History or the Categories tab.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Open a patient from the Patient Lookup window.
  3. Select the appropriate encounter on the Encounter History tab and select the icon.
    The Encounter Details window opens.

    The icon to the left indicates the signoff status.

    If you do not see the document icon, select button on the Encounter History or the Categories tab.

  4. Select the document link to open the document in the designated viewer.
  5. To close the document, select File and select Close.
