You can view document and encounter information, file properties, and user permissions for a selected patient document on the Encounters or Categories tab.

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window.
To view the properties of a document, do one of the following:
Select the Encounter History tab,
Select a patient encounter, that contains the document, and select the button to open the Encounter Details window.
Select the item to view the properties, and select the button.
Select the Categories tab,
To view a category item, do one of the following:
Select List View from the list.
Select Tree View from the list.
To expand all categories; select a category, select Category Options, and select Expand All Categories.
To expand the selected category, select .
Select a document to view properties, and select the document options button.
