Ensure that Access Rights in Rights > OPERATIONS > Encounters > View Encounter Summary is set to Yes in System Administrator to view the clinical data on the Encounter Summary window in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
Note: When Access Rights is set to No, the data on the right side of the Encounter Summary window is hidden. However, you can still view and use the documents, images, templates, and files that appear on the left side of the window. You can view the type of clinical data associated with the encounters and the properties of documents, images, or SAP Crystal Reports within an encounter on the Encounter History tab.
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window.
On the Encounter History tab, select an encounter and select the button.
The Encounter Details window for the selected encounter opens.
Options Available for Patient Chart Items List of patient chart options and their descriptions that provide information on provider signoff details, send to patient portal, patient portal history details, recategorize and properties of patient chart items.
View and add Provider Signoff Comments You can view and add the provider signoff details and comments for the Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) item on the Encounters or Categories tab.
Send Patient Documents You can send patient documents to NextGen® PxP Portal from Encounter History and Categories in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
View Patient Document Properties You can view document and encounter information, file properties, and user permissions for a selected patient document.
