View History of an Item Sent to NextGen® PxP Portal

When you send a NextGen® Enterprise EHR patient chart item such as a document, image, or SAP® Crystal Reports® to a NextGen® PxP Portal, the system creates an audit trail. The system also records when the patient opens the item from the NextGen® PxP Portal.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a NextGen® PxP Portal enrolled patient from the Patient Lookup window.
  2. To view the history details of an item sent to NextGen® PxP Portal, do one of the following:
    • Select the Encounter History tab,
      • Select an encounter, and select the button to open the Encounter Details window.
      • Select the item to view the details, and select the button.

    • Select the Categories tab,
      • To view a category item, do one of the following:
        • Select List View from the list.
        • Select Tree View from the list.
          • To expand all categories; select a category, select Category Options, and select Expand All Categories.
          • To expand the selected category, select .
      • Select a category item to view the patient portal history details, and select the document options button.

  3. Select Patient Portal History Details.

  4. Select Close.
