Select Procedure Data

  1. Select Procedure from the Report Filter Settings List.

  2. Select to display the Procedure Search window.

    • Enter a pertinent Code or Description as a search criterion.
    • Select Search.
    • Select the desired Procedures.
    • Select OK

  3. Select whether to display patients who have had problems within specific date criteria, for example:
    • Patients who have never had the problem before or after a specific date or between a specific date range.
    • Patients who have ever had a problem before or after a specific date.
    • Patients who have not had this problem since a specific date.
    • To select a date range, check Who Have Ever Had and select Between from the list.
      The Date Range window opens.

    • Select the dates.
    • Select OK.
  4. To select patients who have had problems before or after a specific date, do the following:
    • Check Who Have Ever Had and select Before or After from the list.
    • Select the Year/Month/Day. For example, 1 year and 3 months after today's date.
  5. Select the Number of Problems that have been added for a patient for the specified date range, if necessary.
  6. Select whether to display Procedures with Suppressed Billing or Not.
  7. Select whether to display Procedures with Accepted Assignment.
  8. From the Procedure Filter tab:
    Report Filter

    • Setup any desired filters (Equals, Not Equals, Greater Than, Less Than, Like) for Service Description, Service Date, Date Resolved, Place of Service, Service Note and Amount.
    • Select the Date/Time filter (that is, the date/time when a record was created, for example, when a procedure was performed).
    • Setup any desired filters for Provider, Referring Provider, Modifier, Diagnosis, and Payer.
    • If necessary, select to display Search Provider, Modifier Search, Diagnosis Search, or Payer Search dialogs to search for desired filter criteria.
  9. To add additional Procedure data, return to the Procedure Search tab, select Add.

  10. Select whether the additional filter is either AND / OR.
  11. Repeat Steps 2-6.
  12. Select Columns from the Settings List and select the appropriate columns.
  13. Select Sorting or other report display options from the Report Filter, if necessary.
  14. To view the report data in alternate shading, select Alternate Shading.
  15. Select Save.
  16. To generate the report, select OK.
