Select Procedure Data

Select Procedure from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Select to display the Procedure Search window. Procedure Search Enter a pertinent Code or Description as a search criterion. Select Search. Select the desired Procedures. Select OKReport Filter Select whether to display patients who have had problems within specific date criteria, for example: Patients who have never had the problem before or after a specific date or between a specific date range. Select Medication Data

Select Medication from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Select to prompt the Medication Search window. Medication Search Select the type of search: DEA Class, Class or Name. Enter the search criteria. Select whether to include Generics and/or Retired medications. Clear the Active Medication check box if you wish to include all available medications. Select Search. Select the desired medications. Select OK. The medications display in Medication Search pane on the Medications window. Report Filter Select whether to Include or Exclude displayed medications. Select whether to display only the patients Who Have Never Had or Who Have Ever Had before or after a specific date or between a specific date range or Who Have Not Had Since a specific date. Generate a Diagnosis Report

In this example, you need to generate a report for all patients who have been diagnosed with diabetes and who have blood pressure greater than 140/90 in a period of one year. Open the Report Filter. Select Diagnosis from the Settings List. The Diagnosis window opens. Select to display the Diagnosis Search window. Enter the ICD code 250 in the field. Note: The ICD Code option is the default field. Diagnosis Search Select Search. The list of diagnoses appears. Diagnosis Search Select diabetes mellitus diagnosis description. Select OK. You can select and sort columns. Select Columns from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Set up the Columns you wish to display on the report. Patient's Problem List

You can launch the diagnosis search window from a Problem List Pop-Up trigger to display only the diagnoses and ICD codes that have been assigned to the patient. You can then select an ICD code from the list. For example, you may want to associate an existing ICD code with a procedure for billing purposes. Note: In this mode, you cannot search All Diagnoses, Favorites, or Categories; use ICD Legacy Mapping; or view, add, or select ICD synonyms. Enter your search criterion in the text box at the top of the diagnosis search window. You can enter all or part of the clinical description or ICD code or description. Select Search. The search results grid displays the patient problems that match your search criterion. To close the diagnosis search window without making a selection, select Cancel. To select an ICD code, double-click the result row you want, or select the row and select Select. The ICD code is automatically entered in the template field assigned that value. Modify the Billing ICD List Data Entry Fields

You can modify selected entries in the billing ICD list using the billing ICD list data entry fields. You can modify the billing ICD list data entry fields for an ICD selected in the billing ICD list. Open Billing ICD List. In the Billing ICD List data entry area, verify the information entered in the Encounter Date, Code, and Description fields. To select the onset date, select the Onset Date field and use the calendar. Select the Diagnosed Date field and use the calendar to select the diagnosed date. Note: The Diagnosed Date cannot occur before or after the problem's Encounter Date. If necessary, create a encounter to enter a diagnosed date. If you attempt to assign a Resolved Date that is before or after the Onset Date, the application displays an application message. Select the Resolved Date field and use the calendar to select the correct resolved date. Note: The Resolved Date cannot occur before or after the problem's Encounter Date.
