Select Template Data

You can select Template Data for a report. Select Templates from the Report Filter Settings List. In the Select Template pane, select the desired template. If necessary, enter the name of a template to search for. Note: The following Care Guideline templates are no longer available for reporting: CARE_GUIDLELINES CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_HISTORY CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_REASONS CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_UPDATE CLINICAL_GUIDELINES To generate a report that lists the record of all patients (in alphabetical order) due for (selected) clinical guidelines, run the “ngsprep_care_guidelines”. In the Select Field pane, select all the necessary template fields. From the Latest Value By list, select whether to run the report by Modify, Encounter Date or None. To convert all measurements into numeric values for the report, select the Convert to Numeric check box. To only include items that have data in all pertinent Template Tables, select the All Selected Tables must have a record check box. From the Settings List,

Select Procedure Data

Select Procedure from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Select to display the Procedure Search window. Procedure Search Enter a pertinent Code or Description as a search criterion. Select Search. Select the desired Procedures. Select OKReport Filter Select whether to display patients who have had problems within specific date criteria, for example: Patients who have never had the problem before or after a specific date or between a specific date range. Patients who have ever had a problem before or after a specific date. Patients who have not had this problem since a specific date. To select a date range, check Who Have Ever Had and select Between from the list. The Date Range window opens. Select the dates. Select OK. To select patients who have had problems before or after a specific date, do the following: Check Who Have Ever Had and select Before or After from the list. Select the Year/Month/Day. Select Practices (Enterprise-level NextGen® Enterprise EHR Reports Only)

For the Enterprise-Level Reports, you can select the Practices; the data is being pulled from the Practices for your report. Only the Practices that belong to the Enterprise you are logged onto are available for selection. Select Enterprise from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Select all the pertinent practices. Note: By default, ONLY the Practices you are logged onto are automatically selected. If necessary, select the appropriate options from the Report Filter Settings List to filter the report data. Select Columns from the Settings List and select the appropriate columns. If necessary, select Sorting or other report display options from the Report Filter. To view the report data in alternate shading, select Alternate Shading. Note: The alternate shading pattern does not display when you print the report. Select Save. Note: Saving the report before generating is optional. To generate the report, select OK. Select Allergy Data

Select Allergy from the Report Filter Settings List. Settings List Select the Allergy from the list. Select to display the Allergy Search window, if necessary. Allergy Search Select a pertinent Type. Enter a Name as a search criterion or enter * (asterisk) for a wild card search. Select Search. The allergies matching the search criteria display. Select the appropriate allergies. Select OK. The selected allergy displays in the Allergy window. Report Filter Select whether to display only the patients Who Have Never Had or Who Have Ever Had before or after a specific date or Who Have Not Had Since a specific date. Select whether to display All, Active or Inactive Allergies. Setup any desired filters (Equals, Not Equals, Greater Than, Less Than, Like) for Date Onset, Date Resolved, Comment and Reaction. Select Reports Totals

Reports can include column totals in the form of sums, averages, or counts. For example, you could select Reports Totals to count the number of prescribed medicines for pediatric patients who are taking a specific medication type under the age of 18. Note: You should select Totals as the last step before you save and generate the report. Select Totals from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Set the totals you want to use for the appropriate columns. To view the report data in alternate shading, select Alternate Shading. Report Filter Setup filters for Homeless Status, Language Barrier, Sliding Fee Schedule, School Based Health Center, Community Code, Veteran Status, Poverty Category and any other UDS and/or Client Defined field. If necessary, select to display the pertinent Search window. Setup any desired filters (Equals, Not Equal, Greater Than, Less Than, Like, Between) for Family Size, Family Income, Poverty Percentage. From the Report Filter Settings List, select Columns and select the appropriate columns. If necessary, select Sorting or other report display options from the Report Filter.
