Select Stored Procedure Data (Enterprise-level NextGen® Enterprise EHR Reports Only)

The Stored Procedure Data function is an advanced reporting feature. To use this function, you must have advanced knowledge of the NextGen database structure and SQL knowledge. If you have questions about using this function, contact your System Administrator. Select SP from the Report Filter Settings List. Note: Stored Procedures Reports are available for Enterprise-Level Reports ONLY. Report Filter Select whether you wish to filter on a Stored Procedure or a View. Select the Stored Procedure or the View from the list. Note: The "ngsprep_care_guidelines" is an SP report when run, pulls the record of all patients (in alphabetical order) due for clinical guidelines. Report Filter Setup any desired filters (Equals, Not Equals, Greater Than, Less Than, Like) for any of the available parameters. Select the Columns tab (in the pane not the Settings List). Select Patient Chart Data for a Report

Select Patient Chart from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Setup filters for Homeless Status, Language Barrier, Sliding Fee Schedule, School Based Health Center, Community Code, Veteran Status, Poverty Category and any other UDS and/or Client Defined field. If necessary, select to display the pertinent Search window. Setup any desired filters (Equals, Not Equal, Greater Than, Less Than, Like, Between) for Family Size, Family Income, Poverty Percentage. From the Report Filter Settings List, select Columns and select the appropriate columns. If necessary, select Sorting or other report display options from the Report Filter. To view the report data in alternate shading, select Alternate Shading. Note: The alternate shading pattern does not display when you print the report. Select Save. Select Allergy Data

Select Allergy from the Report Filter Settings List. Settings List Select the Allergy from the list. Select to display the Allergy Search window, if necessary. Allergy Search Select a pertinent Type. Enter a Name as a search criterion or enter * (asterisk) for a wild card search. Select Search. The allergies matching the search criteria display. Select the appropriate allergies. Select OK. Open the Report Filter. From the Settings List in NextGen Report Filter: Patient window, select Patient. Report Filter Set up filters for the patient demographic data. To search for Gender, Zip, Race, and Ethnicity, select . Note: If you select more than one race for a patient, all the selected races appear for that patient when you generate the report. To filter by patient number, select a parameter from the Person Nbr list and enter the value. Select the patient's Risk Level as high, medium, or low, or select to do the following. Selecting Provider Data for a Report

Select Provider from the Report Filter Settings List. The Provider Filter window opens. Provider Filter Select the Rendering, Referral or Primary Care Provider from the list. If necessary, select to display the Provider Search window. Provider Search Enter a pertinent Last and/or First Name as a search criterion. Select Search. Select the desired Provider's. If necessary, select to Exclude Existing NextMD Providers. Select OK. The Provider's name displays in the Provider Filter window. Select the Location from the list, if necessary. If necessary, select to display the Location Search window. Location Search Enter a pertinent Name, Address, City, State or Zip Code as a search criterion. Select Search. Generate Providers Performance Report

In this example, you need to generate a list of patients who have had certain procedures performed during a specific period of time. The patients should be grouped by the provider who performed the procedure. Open the Report Filter. Select Procedure from the Settings List. The Procedure Search window opens. Report Filter Select to display the Procedure Search window. Enter Office in the Description field as a search criterion. Select Search. Select office emergency care from the list.
