From the Settings List in NextGen Report Filter: Patient window, select Patient.
Set up filters for the patient demographic data. To search for Gender, Zip, Race, and Ethnicity, select .
Note: If you select more than one race for a patient, all the selected races appear for that patient when you generate the report.
To filter by patient number, select a parameter from the Person Nbr list and enter the value.
Select the patient's Risk Level as high, medium, or low, or select to do the following.
Enter the search criteria such as, high, medium, or low.
Select Search.
Use the right arrow to move the status to the selected items pane.
Select OK.
The risk level appears in the Risk Level filter on the Patient tab.
Select the type of patient status to include from the Patient Status list, or select .
Enter the search criteria such as, active, inactive, or deceased.
Select Search.
Move the status to the selected items pane.
Select OK.
Note: The Patient Status field does not appear if you have selected to generate a report for an enterprise.
Select a patient's Preferred Contact Method, or select to display the Preferred Contact Method Search window.
To select a patient's enrollment status to appear on a report:
Select the Enable Patient Portal Status Filter check box.
Select the desired status from the Patient Portal Patient Status list.
The available options are:
Pending
Completed
Not Enrolled
Deactivated
Account Deleted
Declined
Deferred
To exclude NextGen® PxP Portal patients from appearing on the report, select the Enable Patient Portal Status Filter check box and then select the Non Patient Portal Patients check box.
Select Patient Coverage and select a specific payer from the list or select to open the Payer Search window.
From the Report Filter Settings List, select Columns and then select the appropriate columns.
Select Sorting or other report options from the Report Filter.
You can sort the report by Gender.
To display totals for the patient data, select Totals from the Report Filter Settings List.
The number of male patients over 65 in the practice.
To view the report data in alternate shading, select Alternate Shading.
Note: The alternate shading pattern does not appear when you print the report.
Select Save.
Note: Saving the report before generating is optional.
