Select Stored Procedure Data (Enterprise-level NextGen® Enterprise EHR Reports Only)

The Stored Procedure Data function is an advanced reporting feature. To use this function, you must have advanced knowledge of the NextGen database structure and SQL knowledge. If you have questions about using this function, contact your System Administrator. Select SP from the Report Filter Settings List. Note: Stored Procedures Reports are available for Enterprise-Level Reports ONLY. Report Filter Select whether you wish to filter on a Stored Procedure or a View. Select the Stored Procedure or the View from the list. Note: The "ngsprep_care_guidelines" is an SP report when run, pulls the record of all patients (in alphabetical order) due for clinical guidelines. Report Filter Setup any desired filters (Equals, Not Equals, Greater Than, Less Than, Like) for any of the available parameters. Select the Columns tab (in the pane not the Settings List). Select Patient Chart Data for a Report

Select Patient Chart from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Setup filters for Homeless Status, Language Barrier, Sliding Fee Schedule, School Based Health Center, Community Code, Veteran Status, Poverty Category and any other UDS and/or Client Defined field. If necessary, select to display the pertinent Search window. Setup any desired filters (Equals, Not Equal, Greater Than, Less Than, Like, Between) for Family Size, Family Income, Poverty Percentage. From the Report Filter Settings List, select Columns and select the appropriate columns. If necessary, select Sorting or other report display options from the Report Filter. To view the report data in alternate shading, select Alternate Shading. Note: The alternate shading pattern does not display when you print the report. Select Save. For the Enterprise-Level Reports, you can select the Practices; the data is being pulled from the Practices for your report. Only the Practices that belong to the Enterprise you are logged onto are available for selection. Select Enterprise from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Select all the pertinent practices. Note: By default, ONLY the Practices you are logged onto are automatically selected. If necessary, select the appropriate options from the Report Filter Settings List to filter the report data. Select Columns from the Settings List and select the appropriate columns. Selecting Data and Generating Reports

You can select and filter various types of data to create your custom reports, including Clinical data (allergy, diagnosis, medication, procedure), Orders data (such as lab results), Templates data, and Patient data. You can select data to generate more complex reports, such as logical groups and stored procedures. For additional informational and for presentation purposes, you can select options on the Report Filter Settings List such as Sorting and Totals. Once the data is selected, you can generate the report. CAUTION: Selecting OK on the Report Filter generates the report. Therefore, when navigating between different modules or options when creating a report, do not select OK from the Report Filter window until you have selected all filters, data, report display options, and columns. Open the Report Filter

To open the Report Filter, do one of the following: To create reports for the Practice that you are currently logged on to, select File > Reports > Generate Report > Practice. To create reports for the Enterprise that you are currently logged on to, including any Practices in the Enterprise, select File > Reports > Generate Report > Enterprise.
