Managing Patient Cases in NextGen® Enterprise EHR

The Case Management functionality enables users of both NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM applications to group patient encounters based upon common data into cases. Cases may include workers' compensation, occupational health (non-injury), ambulatory care, group health PT as well as other encounter details. This enables users to submit only the medical-record data of each patient that is required to meet insurance and legal obligations.

You can do the following for patient Cases in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.

  • Mark a Case as Private
  • Add a Template to a Case
  • Print or Send Case Information
