Telephone Communication

You can view and document the communication between a practice and a patient or a patient's representative.

Depending on your preference, you can view and document telephone interaction details on the Telephone Call or Telephone Communication template.

With the Telephone Call template you can document the reason for a call, add additional comments, and create tasks to assign to a patient's task list. You can access the template from the Template module.
Telephone Call

With the Telephone Communication template, you can quickly document details of telephone interactions with patients. The template includes the communication component that works seamlessly with NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine to streamline the documentation process. You can access this template from the Template module for all specialties.

NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine ships with the Telephone Call template as the default. However, your practice can set the default to be the on the Telephone Communication template on the Practice Configuration practice template.
