Open the Telephone Call Template

You can open the Telephone Call template to record information gathered during a telephone conversation with the patient.

Before you begin

Using the Call/Communication link, if you want to open the Telephone Call template by default, then you must clear the Launch Telephone Communication check box at the practice level on the Practice Configuration template.
  • Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  • To open the Telephone Call template, do one of the following:
    • On the Intake template, select the Call/Communication link.
    • On the Patient Information Card, select the Telephone Communication link.
    The Telephone Call template opens.
