Orders Panel

The Orders panel includes the ability to view, process, manage, add, edit, remove, and/or place a follow-up order. In the Orders panel, you can do the following: Process lab and radiology orders Open the Order Management template Open the Immunizations template Access standing orders on the Office Services template Document patient education Create tasks on the To Do template Orders The View of All Orders link is selected by default. You can also see the other options to view which includes Labs, Diagnostics, Office Services, Immunizations Today, Surgical Procedures, Referrals, and Patient Education. You can also place Allergy testing orders, Prick, ID, or Challenge test, and Allergen Specific IgE test in the Orders panel. Note: Although the Intake template contains the ability to document orders, the provider usually documents orders from the SOAP template. Intake Staff Workflow

The intake staff can use the Intake template to document a patient's chief complaint, vital signs, medications, allergies, standing orders, and various other findings. The intake staff workflow involves documenting the patient encounter on the Intake and Histories templates. The information documented by the intake staff is used by the provider for reference and to proceed with the encounter. Open the Home Page Template You can obtain the patient summary on the Home Page template. Viewing Template Links on the Home Page Template On the Home Page template, you can view and open links to other templates based on the selected specialty. You can use the Intake template to document the patient information. You can document the following details of the patient in the various sections of the Intake template: General information of the patient Reason for the patient's to visit Patient's history Patient's Assessments Patient Medications Patient's allergies Vital Signs Patient's Orders Review of systems Patient Education Start a Dermatology Encounter Patient's General Information You can document a patient's general information on the Intake template. Add a Reason for Visit You can document the History of Present Illness (HPI), problems, as the reason for a patient visit. Document an Order in the Orders Panel

The Orders panel includes the ability to view, process, manage, add, edit or remove an order. You can also access Immunizations, Standing Orders, and the Task functionality. Orders panel By default the View of All Orders link is selected. The other options to view are Labs, Diagnostics, Office Services, Immunizations, Procedures, Guidelines, and Referrals. This would not commonly be used during an initial prenatal visit. In the Orders panel, click Add to access the My Plan template. My Plan template Click the Assessments, My Plan, A/P Details, Labs, Diagnostics, Referrals, Office Procedures, and Review/Cosign Orders tabs to enter the required information. Viewing Links on the Intake Template

The links on the Intake template enable you to open the templates where you can document the patient details. The Intake template associated with the various specialties has the following common links. The links that appear on the Intake template vary depending on the specialty that you have selected. You can also customize the links as per your requirements. Standing Orders. Enables you to open the Office Services template to create or update orders, document details of the diagnosis, and bill the orders. Adult Immunizations. Enables you to add the vaccine and allergy details of adult patients. Peds Immunizations. Enables you to add the vaccine, medication, and allergy details of pediatric patients. My Plan.
