Orders Panel

The Orders panel includes the ability to view, process, manage, add, edit, remove, and/or place a follow-up order. In the Orders panel, you can do the following: Process lab and radiology orders Open the Order Management template Open the Immunizations template Access standing orders on the Office Services template Document patient education Create tasks on the To Do template Orders The View of All Orders link is selected by default. You can also see the other options to view which includes Labs, Diagnostics, Office Services, Immunizations Today, Surgical Procedures, Referrals, and Patient Education. You can also place Allergy testing orders, Prick, ID, or Challenge test, and Allergen Specific IgE test in the Orders panel. Note: Although the Intake template contains the ability to document orders, the provider usually documents orders from the SOAP template. Orders

You can add and manage the orders for a patient. You can view, process, manage, add, and place a follow-up order from the Orders panel. It also includes links to process lab and radiology orders, open the Order Management template, open the Immunizations template, access standing orders on the Office Services template, create tasks on the To Do template, and document the education provided to a patient. Orders Panel The View All Orders link is selected by default. The other options to view include Labs, Diagnostics, Office Services, Immunizations Today, Surgical Procedures, Referrals, and Patient Education. You can select a row in the grid and select Edit to open the Orders Edit template, and update the order details. The Education material provided section enables you to provide patient education documents and indicate if they are provided in the patient's preferred language and FDA approved. Viewing Links on the Intake Template

The links on the Intake template enable you to open the templates where you can document the patient details. The Intake template associated with the various specialties has the following common links. The links that appear on the Intake template vary depending on the specialty that you have selected. You can also customize the links as per your requirements. Standing Orders. Enables you to open the Office Services template to create or update orders, document details of the diagnosis, and bill the orders. Adult Immunizations. Enables you to add the vaccine and allergy details of adult patients. Peds Immunizations. Enables you to add the vaccine, medication, and allergy details of pediatric patients. My Plan. Enables you to document the treatment plan of a patient on the My Plan template. Procedures. Enables you to document the details of the procedures performed during the patient encounter. Order Management. Enables you to update the applicable order details. Document Library. Enable

Orders Panel

The Orders panel enables you to view OB education items that were previously completed are listed as completed orders. The Immunizations link opens the Immunizations module. The Standing Orders link opens the Office Services template. Select Add to open the My Plan template. This also gives access to the A/P Details, Labs, Diagnostics, Referrals, Office Procedures, and Cosign Orders templates, if needed. Managing Today's Orders

You can process lab or radiology orders documented by the provider on the My Plan template. You can add and edit an order in the Today's Orders panel. To place any follow-up order, you can use the Follow Up button. Several types of orders are available in the Today's Orders panel. The numbers next to the order types indicate the number of items in the queue for that type of order. In the beginning, you must select the order type, and then you need to select Add or Edit to open the respective order template to add or update the details. To place an order from the Orders Console template, you must select the Enable Order Module check box in the Orders/Plans section on the Practice Configuration template. Process Lab Orders You can process lab orders from the Process and Submit Lab/Radiology Orders template.
