Orders

You can add and manage the orders for a patient. You can view, process, manage, add, and place a follow-up order from the Orders panel. It also includes links to process lab and radiology orders, open the Order Management template, open the Immunizations template, access standing orders on the Office Services template, create tasks on the To Do template, and document the education provided to a patient. Orders Panel The View All Orders link is selected by default. The other options to view include Labs, Diagnostics, Office Services, Immunizations Today, Surgical Procedures, Referrals, and Patient Education. You can select a row in the grid and select Edit to open the Orders Edit template, and update the order details. The Education material provided section enables you to provide patient education documents and indicate if they are provided in the patient's preferred language and FDA approved. Documenting Vaccine and Allergy Details of Pediatric Patients

You can add the vaccine and allergy details of a pediatric patients. The Peds Immunizations link opens the Immunization - Pediatric template where you can add the vaccine, medication, and allergy details of pediatric patients. Open the Adult Immunization Template

You can document the immunization details of a patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. Select the Adult Immunizations link. The Immunization - Adult template opens. Immunization - Adult Add Vaccination Details of Adult Patients You can document the vaccination details of an adult patient. Document Vaccine Adverse Events You can document the adverse effects of a vaccine. Buttons on the Adult Immunization Template The buttons on the Immunization - Adult template appear at the top of the data grid, using this you can view data, print or fax the summary, view or add patient immunization, and review exclusions. Generate Information from Document Library You can generate patient information using the documents listed on the Documents and Letters template. My Plan Versus My Custom Plan to Create a Treatment Plan

You can document a treatment plan that is personalized to suit your practice's specific needs. The My Plan tab contains the My Custom Plan template that helps you configure as a grid for order sets, replacing the need to manually select a check box for each order to be placed. The individualized fields available on the original My Plan template require manual selection of every order needed for a particular diagnosis. The My Custom Plan template reduces the number of selects required for ordering while maintaining the process for managing order sets and provider plans. The My Custom Plan template uses a more streamlined user interface and takes a personalized approach to diagnosis-based order sets. In the customized template workflow, the individualized fields are uploaded to a grid in the Pending Orders section. The dynamic plan template provides the following advantages: Ability to manage all orders from the same template Ability to place unlimited number of orders for each order typ

Links on the Intake Template

You can open different templates to document the patient details through the links on the Intake template. The Intake template includes the following links: Standing Orders Opens the Office Services template to create or update orders, document details of diagnoses, and bill orders. Adult Immunizations Adds vaccine and allergy details of adult patients. Peds Immunizations Adds vaccine, medication, and allergy details of pediatric patients. My Plan Records the treatment plan of a patient on the My Plan template. Procedures Records the details of procedures performed during the patient encounter. Order Management Updates the applicable order details. Intake Links Note: The links are also available on the Intake and SOAP templates. The Standing Orders, Adult Immunizations, Peds Immunizations, and Procedures links are common to all specialties. The template includes the following links: Standing Orders: The Standing Orders link opens the Office Services template. The Office Services template enables you to update or place orders, document details of the diagnosis, and bill the orders. Adult Immunization: The Adult Immunization link opens the Immunization - Adult template, enables you to add vaccine, and allergy information for an adult patient. If the patient has any medication or allergy related application messages, enter the alert information in the Alert field. Peds Immunizations: The Peds Immunizations link opens the Immunization - Pediatric template where you add the vaccine, medication, and allergies details of a pediatric patient.
