Intake Template Links

You can use the intake template links to document a patient encounter on the Intake and Histories templates. The Intake template includes the following: Standing Orders opens the Office Services template which enables you to update or place orders, document details of the diagnoses, and bill the orders. Adult Immunizations opens the Immunization - Adult template, which enables you to add vaccine and allergy information for an adult patient. If the patient has any medication or allergy related alerts, enter the alert information in the Alert field. Peds Immunizations opens the Immunization - Pediatric template where you can add the vaccine, medication, and allergy details of a pediatric patient. Procedures opens the Procedures template to access several procedure templates associated with various systems. Order Management template enables you to update the applicable order details. Viewing Links on the Intake Template

The links on the Intake template enable you to open the templates where you can document the patient details. The Intake template associated with the various specialties has the following common links. The links that appear on the Intake template vary depending on the specialty that you have selected. You can also customize the links as per your requirements. Standing Orders. Enables you to open the Office Services template to create or update orders, document details of the diagnosis, and bill the orders. Adult Immunizations. Links on the Intake Template

You can open different templates to document the patient details through the links on the Intake template. The Intake template includes the following links: Standing Orders Opens the Office Services template to create or update orders, document details of diagnoses, and bill orders. Open the Adult Immunization Template

You can document the immunization details of a patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. Select the Adult Immunizations link. The Immunization - Adult template opens. Immunization - Adult Add Vaccination Details of Adult Patients You can document the vaccination details of an adult patient. Document Vaccine Adverse Events You can document the adverse effects of a vaccine. Buttons on the Adult Immunization Template The buttons on the Immunization - Adult template appear at the top of the data grid, using this you can view data, print or fax the summary, view or add patient immunization, and review exclusions. Generate Information from Document Library You can generate patient information using the documents listed on the Documents and Letters template. Histories Tab Links

The Histories template includes the following links: Demographics - The Demographics link displays the Patient Demographics template to enable you to document patient information such as contact information, address details, Primary Care Physician (PCP) details, insurance or pharmacy details, provider details, emergency contact details, reminders, and employment details. Order Management - The Order Management link displays the Order Management template, which enables you to update the applicable order details. Document Library - The Document Library link opens the Documents and Letters template. The Documents and Letters template includes links that generate the formatted letters and assessment templates, enables you to enter the applicable data. Chart Abstraction - The Chart Abstraction link opens the Chart Abstraction template. Orders

You can add and manage the orders for a patient. You can view, process, manage, add, and place a follow-up order from the Orders panel. It also includes links to process lab and radiology orders, open the Order Management template, open the Immunizations template, access standing orders on the Office Services template, create tasks on the To Do template, and document the education provided to a patient. Orders Panel The View All Orders link is selected by default. The other options to view include Labs, Diagnostics, Office Services, Immunizations Today, Surgical Procedures, Referrals, and Patient Education. You can select a row in the grid and select Edit to open the Orders Edit template, and update the order details. The Education material provided section enables you to provide patient education documents and indicate if they are provided in the patient's preferred language and FDA approved.
