The Orders panel includes the ability to view, process, manage, add, edit, remove, and/or place a follow-up order.
In the Orders panel, you can do the following:
- Process lab and radiology orders
- Open the Order Management template
- Open the Immunizations template
- Access standing orders on the Office Services template
- Document patient education
- Create tasks on the To Do template
The View of All Orders link is selected by default. You can also see the other options to view which includes Labs, Diagnostics, Office Services, Immunizations Today, Surgical Procedures, Referrals, and Patient Education. You can also place Allergy testing orders, Prick, ID, or Challenge test, and Allergen Specific IgE test in the Orders panel.
Note: Although the Intake template contains the ability to document orders, the provider usually documents orders from the SOAP template. The Orders panel is also included on the Chronic Conditions template. The functionality of the Orders panel on the Chronic Conditions template remains the same as the Orders panel on the Home and Intake templates.
