Add or Update Assessment Template

The Assessments link in the My Plan template enables you to open the Add or Update Assessment template. The Add or Update Assessment template enables you to add and update assessments. Patient's Lab Orders

You can place lab orders from the Labs tab using the Lab Master template or the Orders console. The Process and Submit Lab/Radiology Orders template shares information with the Lab Master template and the Orders console. You can place a lab order from the Lab Master template on the Labs tab for the following types of tests: chemistry, CSF labs, office labs, tumor markers, microbiology, hematology, OB labs, other tests, urine chemistries, therapeutic levels, serology, and pre-Cath labs. Instead of using the Lab Master template, you can configure the Labs tab to open to the Orders console for processing labs. The Process and Submit Lab/Radiology Orders template shares all orders that are mapped in the Order Tests Master File in File Maintenance with the Orders module, including the order details and any mapped LOINC® or SNOMED® codes. My Plan Tabbed Template Set

The following functions are available on the tabs in the My Plan template set: Assessments- addresses the needs of both ICD-10 coding and 5010 standards My Plan- can be set to use the My Plan or My Custom Plan template; My Custom Plan includes the following functionality: If an advanced imaging order meets the Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC), the system saves the associated AUC information. Hold order processing and a robust Ask at Order Entry feature A/P Details- enter any pertinent comments, differential diagnoses, plan or provider details. Labs- enter new lab orders associated to an assessment; can also be set up to bypass the template for order processing. Templates in the My Plan/Orders Template Set

Templates in the My Plan/Orders tabbed template set include the following: Assessments also known as the Add or Update Assessments template; used in other specialties to document assessments for the patient Today's Assessments. My Plan – the customizable My Plan template based on order sets for diagnosis categories that can be modified and managed by clients using practice templates; diagnosis categories are part of a reference system. Orders

You can add and manage the orders for a patient. You can view, process, manage, add, and place a follow-up order from the Orders panel. It also includes links to process lab and radiology orders, open the Order Management template, open the Immunizations template, access standing orders on the Office Services template, create tasks on the To Do template, and document the education provided to a patient. Orders Panel The View All Orders link is selected by default. The other options to view include Labs, Diagnostics, Office Services, Immunizations Today, Surgical Procedures, Referrals, and Patient Education. You can select a row in the grid and select Edit to open the Orders Edit template, and update the order details. The Education material provided section enables you to provide patient education documents and indicate if they are provided in the patient's preferred language and FDA approved. It also includes links to the process lab and radiology orders, open Order Management template, open Immunizations template, access standing orders in Office Services template, document about the patient education provided to patients, and create tasks in the To Do template, respectively.
