Manage Provider Communication

You can update or remove the previously documented provider communications.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Open the SOAP template.
  3. Select the Provider Comm icon.
    The Provider Communication template opens.
  4. The Date field displays today’s date. To select another date, select the Date field and select the date.
  5. Select the row to update or remove in the grid.
    Details of the selected row appear in the fields above the grid.
  6. To update the communication details, do the following:
    1. Make the necessary changes in the fields.
    2. Select Add/Update.
      The updated communication appears in the grid.
  7. To remove the communication details, select Remove.
    The selected communication does not appear in the grid when the Active filter is selected, and the Remove button is unavailable. The selected communication appears in the grid when the All or Deleted filters are selected.
  8. Save and close the template.
