Review of Obstetrics Details by Intake Staff

The intake staff begins the current encounter on the Intake template. They can review the patient details documented during the previous encounters on the Home Page - Obstetrics template. The Home Page - Obstetrics template displays the information documented by the intake staff on the Intake and Histories templates for the provider's review. Document an Order in the Orders Panel

The Orders panel includes the ability to view, process, manage, add, edit or remove an order. You can also access Immunizations, Standing Orders, and the Task functionality. Orders panel By default the View of All Orders link is selected. The other options to view are Labs, Diagnostics, Office Services, Immunizations, Procedures, Guidelines, and Referrals. This would not commonly be used during an initial prenatal visit. In the Orders panel, click Add to access the My Plan template. OB Intake Staff Workflow

The intake staff workflow for an Initial Prenatal visit involves documenting the patient encounter on the Intake, Gestational Age, Histories, and Education templates. The information documented by the intake staff is reviewed by the provider. When you access the Intake template, select Obstetrics and OB Prenatal Initial from the Specialty and Visit Type fields to display the Initial Prenatal template set. The intake staff uses the Intake template to document a patient's chief complaint, vital signs, medications, allergies, standing orders, and various other findings that may not have already been recorded on the Home Page - ORT template. Viewing Links on the Intake Template

The links on the Intake template enable you to open the templates where you can document the patient details. The Intake template associated with the various specialties has the following common links. The links that appear on the Intake template vary depending on the specialty that you have selected. You can also customize the links as per your requirements. Standing Orders.
