Configure Management Plans
You can configure the management plans and then enter the plan actions or the type of communication and time interval for the plan to be sent to the patient.
The Management Plan Configuration panel is used to configure the management plans that appears on the Management Plans template.
Note: You need to set up the categories in the Modify Management Plan Categories and Statuses panel.
The Information icon provides instructions to use the template.
- Open the Management Plan Setup template.
- In the Management Plan Configuration panel, select a category in the Category field.
- Enter a plan title in the Title field.
- To add a plan summary, enter the details in the Plan summary field.
- To enter an age range, select the Age field and enter the value.
- In the Gender field, select a gender.
- To enter a short summary of the plan, enter action details in the Action details field.
- In the Plan Actions section, do the following to enter the plan actions.
- In the Action # field, select a number from the numeric keypad.
- In the Interval field, select an action interval from the template.
- In the Action type field, select an option from the list.
- Select Add.
You can add multiple actions to the Plan Actions grid as applicable.The plan appears in the Plan Actions grid.Note: For Reminder Letters for patients, documentation is needed that a patient is alerted and aware about the plans. For example, if a patient has completed one out of the two months, acknowledges receiving a letter, and understands the plan, a third attempt to contact the patient is not required. It also depends on the patient's issue. Regardless of positive contact, there should be a reminder at the period of time when the patient scheduled for a follow-up exam. Reminders are not be mandatory for all users and only applicable for certain scenarios and management plans communication. - Select Create Plan.
The plan details display in the grid.
- To inactivate the plan, highlight the specific plan, select the Inactive check box and select the Update Plan.
The plan has an Inactive status in the grid.Note: The Inactive check box is used if the plan has expired. When you open the patient's user chart, it is not available for selection or applying it to the chart.
- To activate the plan, select the plan from the grid, clear the Inactive check box, and then click the Update Plan.
The plan shows an Active status in the grid.
