Anti-D Immune Globulin

You can add the Anti-D immune globulin (RhIG) through the Optional Orders panel.

Anti-D immune globulin (RhIG) is added, but is not be checked for drug and allergy interactions. The order is placed but the medication is not sent to the Medication module. If you want to order Anti-D immune globulin (RhIG) and check for the drug and allergy interactions, you must map the National Drug Code (NDC) ID with the medication in File Maintenance. Also, you must map the default NDC Library for the current practice in Practice Preferences in File Maintenance. After the Anti-D immune globulin (RhIG) is mapped, you can add the immune globulin medication on the Medication Allergies module. You can select Allergies in the Quick Buttons panel or the Medication Allergies button on the Top Toolbar to open the Medication Allergies module.
