Document Information in the General Panel

You can document the general information of a patient in the General panel. Expand the General panel. General panel The Last Weight and the Total pregnancy weight gain (lb) fields is automatically filled in future visits based on the data entered in the previous templates. The questions that are answered on the Histories template displays here. In the EGA Calculator (for future estimating) section, select the As of field and select a date.The EGA on that day displays in the EGA will be field. Obstetric Problems

You can document, update, view, and track a patient's obstetric problems. In the Prenatal Detail template, you can use the OB Problems panel to do the following. View a patient’s active obstetric (OB) problems and the details of each problem. Add an OB problem to a patient record. Update the details of an OB problem. Review ordered and resulted lab and diagnostic orders and add obstetric problem notes. View a patient's previous pregnancy problems and move pertinent problems to the current pregnancy. View attached images and documents. Add Obstetric Problems You can add a patient's obstetric problems to the Problems module and also move a problem to today’s assessment. Update Obstetric Problems You can update a patient's obstetric problems in the OB Problem Add panel. Open Lab and Diagnostic Review You must add an obstetric(OB) poblem to be able to view the Lab and Diagnostic Review link. Place Obstetric Lab Orders

The Obtained Interval range is available based on the prenatal details available on the Gestational Age template template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. Open the Prenatal Detail template, and then expand the Initial Orders panel.The lab orders associated with the Obtained Interval date range appears in the grid. Note: The Obtained Interval date range is based on the details of the Gestational Age template. Initial Orders To order a test through the Historical Test - Quick Entry template, double-click the test name. For the D(rh) test, if the result is negative, the result appears in red color. To review a single lab order result, do the following: Select the row where the lab order result is available. The Edit Test Interval window opens. Review Fetal Chromosomal Testing

You can review lab results for the available obstetric lab order in the Fetal Chromosomal Testing panel. You can place orders for the tests in the Fetal Chromosomal Testing panel during any time of pregnancy. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the Fetal Chromosomal Testing panel.The associated lab orders appear in the grid. Double-click the test name to place the order through Historical Test - Quick Entry template. To review a single lab order result, do the following: Select the row where the lab order result is available. The Edit Test Interval window opens. Select the Reviewed check box, and then select Save & Close. The reviewed check mark appears. To review all lab orders with results, select the Reviewed check box. Place Selected Orders and Results for Obstetrics Diagnostics

You can place order and results for obstetrics diagnostics in the Diagnostic Studies panel. Open the Prenatal Detail template, expand the Diagnostics Studies panel, and then select Add.The OB Diagnostics template opens. Ensure that a diagnosis is available in the Today's Assessment grid. Select a Diagnosis study. In the Results/Report section, do the following: In Exam Type, select the Transabdominal or Transvaginal option. Enter the estimated gestational age in EGA at time of sonogram. To select the interpretation of the diagnostic test, select Interpretation. To record the estimated fetal weight in grams, select EFW and enter the value. Note: You can enter the estimated fetal weight for one fetus. To enter multiple gestation, slick the Multiple Gestation link. In the OB Multiple Fetus Notes window, select the Fetus number. Enter additional fetus details in the Notes field. Select Add.The details are added to the grid. Select OK.The Multiple Gestation link changes to magenta. Select F

Document Diagnostic Details

You can add exam type, estimated gestational age (EGA), estimated fetal weight, and preconfigured diagnostic details for a diagnostic order. Before you begin Ensure that a diagnosis is available in the Today's Assessment grid. In the Diagnostics Studies panel, select Add.The OB Diagnostics template opens. In the Today's Assessment grid, select a diagnosis. In the Orders section, select the Diagnostic study field and select a diagnostic study.The selected diagnostic study and the code appears. The Diagnostic Details link appears in the Result details section. Select the Diagnostic Details link.The Diagnostic Details template opens. To enter the diagnostic details, do the following: Select the Exam type. Enter the Fetus number. Enter the EGA at time of Sonogram and the EFW. Select Category and Subcategory. Select Result Findings. Select or add the Test Result Findings.The result appears in the grid. Select OK.The result also appears in the Result details section on theOB Diagnostic templ
