Create and Configure Obstetrics Diagnostic Details

You can create and configure obstetrics diagnostic findings and associated results. You can preconfigure the diagnostic study categories, subcategories, result findings, test results, and test units that appear in the Diagnostic Details template in Obstetrics Prenatal Detail. Open the Diagnostic Details Builder template. Note: The default practice is automatically selected. The preconfigured specialty, category, subcategory, findings, and test results for the practice appear in the grid. In the Category and Subcategory Options section, select a specialty from the list or the All specialties option. Note: To clear the values in a particular field, select Cl. To clear all the fields in a section, select Clear All. To add diagnostic groups, select a category. Enter a subcategory, if necessary. Select Add.The selected specialty, category, and subcategory details are added to the grid. Select a record for specialty, category, and subcategory from the Category and Subcategory Options grid. T

Open Diagnostic Details

You can open the Diagnostic Details template from the OB Diagnostics template. Before you begin Ensure that a diagnosis is available in the Today's Assessment grid. Select the Prenatal Detail tab In the Diagnostics Studies panel, select Add.The OB Diagnostics template opens. In the Today's Assessment grid, select a diagnosis. In the Orders section, select the Diagnostic study field and select a diagnostic study.The selected diagnostic study and the code appears. The Diagnostic Details link appears in the Result details section. Select the Diagnostic Details link.The Diagnostic Details template opens. Diagnostic Details Document Diagnostic Details You can add exam type, estimated gestational age (EGA), estimated fetal weight, and preconfigured diagnostic details for a diagnostic order. Document Diagnostic Details

You can view obstetric diagnosis orders using the Diagnostic Studies and go to Diagnostic Details template. Select the Prenatal Detail tab To view fetal growth graph, in the Diagnostic Studies panel, select the Fetal Growth Graph link. Diagnostic Studies The Crystal Report Viewer window opens, where you can view graphs of fetal weight versus gestational age, and fetal height versus gestational age from 24 weeks onwards. To view OB Diagnostics template, in Diagnostic Studies panel, select Add.The OB Diagnostics template opens, where you can view and update the Currently Pregnant status, Initial/Working EDD date, EGA age, and diagnoses; track diagnostic test results and order statuses, and process laboratory and diagnostic orders. Add Obstetrics Diagnostics in Today's Assessment

You can add a diagnosis in the Today's assessment section. Select the Prenatal Detail tab In the Diagnostics Studies panel, select Add.The OB Diagnostics template opens. In the Today's Assessments section, select the Add common assessment link. Note: You can also add an assessment using the OB Problems link. The Common assessment template opens. Select a diagnosis from the Common Assessment template. Select Save & Close. The selected diagnosis appears in the Today's Assessment grid in the OB Diagnostics template. Update Diagnostic Categories

You can update the preconfigured diagnostic categories in the Diagnostic Details Builder template. Open the Diagnostic Details Builder template. In the Category and Subcategory Options section, select a record from the grid.The Specialty, Category, and Subcategory for the selected record are available for editing. Make the required changes, and then select Update.The record is updated and available in the grid. In the Findings and Test Result Configuration section, select a record from the grid.The Result Findings, Test Results, and Units are available for editing. Overview of Obstetrics Diagnostics

You can document obstetrics conditions and obstetrics diagnostic details in the Diagnostics Studies panel. You can do the following through the Diagnostics Studies panel: View the Currently Pregnant status, Initial/Working EDD (estimated due date), and EGA (estimated gestational age). Open the Medication and Immunization templates. Add diagnoses and OB problems to Today's assessment. Record historical orders for gynecologic and obstetrics diagnostic tests. Record the type of examination, Transabdominal or Transvaginal. Select verbal order or needs sign-off and send task automatically. Select obstetrical specialty diagnostic tests and place orders. Record EGA at the time of sonogram, select interpretation, add clinical interpretations, and estimated fetal growth. Add multiple gestation details and result details.
