You can attach encounter documents, scanned documents, or images to orders in the Obstetrics Diagnostics template.
 
  
   
Before you begin
   To attach a document, a diagnosis order should be available in the 
Orders section.
 
 
 
  - Select the Prenatal Detail tab
 
  - In the Diagnostics Studies panel, select Add.
   
    The OB Diagnostics template opens.
   
 
  - In the Today's Assessment section, select the diagnosis order to add an attachment.
 
  - In the Orders section, document the order details.
 
  - Select the See scanned document checkbox, select the document or scanned image in the Scanned Document/Image window, and then select OK.
   
    The file is attached and the name of the attached file appears in the See scanned document field.
   
 
  - Select Place Order.
   
    The attachment is added to the order.
   
 
  - To replace the attached document, do the following:
   
    
     - Select the Cl button.
 
     - Select the See scanned document checkbox, and then select a document or image.
 
     - Select Update.
 
    
     
  - Select Save & Close.
