Manage Orders Using Order Management

You can document order results and add additional details in the Order Management template. For more information on Order Management, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Getting Started User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. On the Prenatal Detail template, select Order Management.The Order Management window opens. Select the order to be updated, and then select Edit.The All Order Management window opens. Enter the details. In the Result/report section, select the Received or Completed checkbox.The Details button appears when the ordered test is configured and included in Manage Custom Links. Select Details. Enter the details in the Interpretation and Result details fields. Select Save, and then select Close.The order details are available on the Order Managem

Review Ultrasound Orders

You can review lab results for the available obstetric lab orders in the Ultrasound Orders panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the Ultrasound Orders panel.The orders placed through the Diagnostic Studies panel appear in the grid. Ultrasound Orders To review a single lab order result, do the following: Select the row where the lab order result is available. The Edit Test Interval window opens. Select the Reviewed check box, and then select Save & Close. The reviewed check mark appears. To review all lab orders with results, select the Reviewed check box. Review Fetal Chromosomal Testing

You can review lab results for the available obstetric lab order in the Fetal Chromosomal Testing panel. You can place orders for the tests in the Fetal Chromosomal Testing panel during any time of pregnancy. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the Fetal Chromosomal Testing panel.The associated lab orders appear in the grid. Double-click the test name to place the order through Historical Test - Quick Entry template. You can review lab results for the available obstetric lab order in the Optional Orders panel. You can place orders for the tests in the Optional Orders panel during any time of pregnancy. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. You can review lab results for the available obstetric lab order in the Genetic Screening and Testing Maternal Carrier Screening panel. You can order tests through the Genetic Screening and Testing Maternal Carrier Screening panel during any time of pregnancy. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the Genetic Screening and Testing Maternal Carrier Screening panel.The associated lab orders appear in the grid. You can review lab results for the available obstetric lab order in the 32-37 Week Orders panel for a fetus between 32 to 37 weeks. The Obtained Interval range is based on the prenatal details available on the Gestational Age template template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter. On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the 32-37 Week Orders panel.The lab orders associated with the Obtained Interval date range appears in the grid. This date range is based on the details on the Gestational Age template. 32 to 37 week orders Double-click the test name to place the order through Historical Test - Quick Entry template.
