Generate Documents on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

The following two buttons are available at the bottom of the ASC - Physician Procedure template: Button Function Procedure Letter Select to generate the Asc_Ref_Proc_Phy_proc_letter document for the referring providers as a reference to the procedure performed on the patient. Generate Document Select to generate encounter based document Or, Select the drop-down arrow on the button and select a procedure from the list to generate the procedure based document. The procedure note document includes all the details and the images associated with the selected procedure. Note: The system generates the referral note with the procedure document if you select the Generate Procedure Letter on generation of the Procedure document checbox in the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. Reason for Visit Panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

The Reason for Visit panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template allows the provider to document the chief complaints of the patient. Note: The Reason for Visit options are dependent on the specialty selected. Reason for Visit The procedure details documented in the Procedure panel appear in the Reason for Visit panel. Note: If you remove any reason for visit by selecting the Additional/Manage link, then the reason is deleted from the Reason for Visit panel and not from the Procedure panel, and if you update any existing procedures in the Procedure panel, then a new record is added in the Reason for Visit panel. In the Reason for Visit panel, if you select the Do not launch HPI checkbox and then select a reason, the system displays the selected reason in the grid without opening the HPI template. Add a New Procedure or Findings

To add a new procedure or finding data, select Add New.The left and the right arrows at the bottom of the ASC Procedure Documentation template are used to go to the previous and the next available procedure details respectively. You can also select the label Entry and select the required entry from the list. Select Save & Close.The documented data appears in the Documentation panel. To delete a procedure documentation record, highlight a row in the Documentation panel grid and select Remove. If you want to save the documented values as the default template, select the Quick Save button and enter a default set name for the template. Update Documented Data in the Documentation Panel

In the Documentation panel, select a row in the grid. Select Edit to open the ASC Procedure Documentation template. Make the required changes by selecting any of the sections in the left pane, and then updating the selections in the grid.The selected values update to the field below the View label. Select Save & Close.The modified record updates in the Documentation panel grid. To delete a procedure documentation record, highlight a row in the Documentation panel grid and select Remove.
