Open the Procedure Documentation Config Practice Template

You can configure procedure documentation and findings using the Procedure Documentation Config template. The configured content appears in the runtime Documentation panel and Findings panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. In Select Template, select the Practice tab. In the Show section, select All.A list of practice templates opens. Select Procedure Documentation Config and select OK.The Procedure Documentation Config practice template opens. To configure specialty-specific procedure documentation and finding content, select Specialty and then add one from the list.The information icon is available to view instructions on how to use the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. The Documentation panel allows you to document the procedure details. In this panel, the provider can document details of single or multiple procedures. You can also document any additional findings associated with a procedure. Procedure Config Practice Template

The Procedure Config practice template enables you to configure specialty-specific procedures and associate a procedure site to each procedure. Open the ASC Procedure Config Template to Configure Ambulatory Surgery Procedures You can configure the Ambulatory Surgery procedures and associate a procedure site to each procedure on the ASC Procedure Config practice template. Configure Sections for a Procedure

You can configure procedure documentation and procedure findings sections using the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. In runtime, the configured sections of procedure documentation and procedure findings appear in the ASC Procedure Documentation and ASC Phy Procedure Findings templates. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. In Select Template, select the Practice tab. In the Show section, select All.A list of practice templates opens. Select Procedure Documentation Config and select OK. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Sections panel. To configure sections for a procedure, select Procedure and then select a procedure from the list.The list includes all the procedures configured in the Procedure Config practice template for the selected specialty. Add a New Procedure or Findings

To add a new procedure or finding data, select Add New.The left and the right arrows at the bottom of the ASC Procedure Documentation template are used to go to the previous and the next available procedure details respectively. You can also select the label Entry and select the required entry from the list. Select Save & Close.The documented data appears in the Documentation panel. To delete a procedure documentation record, highlight a row in the Documentation panel grid and select Remove. If you want to save the documented values as the default template, select the Quick Save button and enter a default set name for the template.
