Update Documented Data in the Documentation Panel

In the Documentation panel, select a row in the grid. Select Edit to open the ASC Procedure Documentation template. Make the required changes by selecting any of the sections in the left pane, and then updating the selections in the grid.The selected values update to the field below the View label. Select Save & Close.The modified record updates in the Documentation panel grid. To delete a procedure documentation record, highlight a row in the Documentation panel grid and select Remove. If you want to save the documented values as the default template, select the Quick Save button and enter a default set name for the template. Document an ASC Procedure

In the Documentation panel, select Add.The ASC Procedure Documentation template opens. ASC Procedure The Procedure field displays the procedure entered in the Procedure panel. If more than one procedure is entered in the Procedure panel, then the Procedure field displays the first procedure documented in the current encounter. The Procedure field includes left and right arrows. The left blue arrow is used to go to the previous procedure and the right blue arrow is used to go to the next procedure. If the current encounter includes only one procedure, then the arrows are not available. By default, the system selects the Procedure documentation option and displays the associated sections in the left pane. Select a section in the left pane.The corresponding list of values appears in the grid, and the navigational tab appears above the left pane. Add More Details to the Findings

To add any additional details to the findings, select the Add/Edit Comments button.The ASC Phy Procedure comment template opens. ASC Phy Procedure comment In the Comments field, enter any additional information and select Add. You can use the My Phrases link at the top-right of the Comments field to add comments. For more information on managing and using the My Phrases functionality, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Getting Started User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Select Close.The entered comment adds to the end of the concatenated record in the field below the View label. If you select the Default paragraph view to editable checkbox on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, then the My Phrases and Manage My Phrases links appear in the Documentation panel to add and/or select comments. To add findings on the selected procedure, select the Findings option. Note: The additional findings documented do not display in the Findings

Documentation Panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

The Documentation panel allows you to document the procedure details. In this panel, the provider can document details of single or multiple procedures. You can also document any additional findings associated with a procedure. Document Information on the Individuals Participating in Administering the Procedure

Select Add to open the ASC Additional Personnel template. ASC Additional Personnel Select Position and select the appropriate role of the person from the list.If the options in the list are not appropriate for selection, select the top-blank line in the list and enter the appropriate value in the Position field. Select Name and select the name of the individual in the position from the list.You can select the top-blank row in the list to enter the appropriate name in the Name field. Select Stage and select the procedure stage the selected individual will be involved in.The left and the right arrows at the bottom of the ASC Additional Personnel template are used to go to the previous and the next available entries respectively. You can select the label Entry and select the required entry from the list. To add a new entry, select the Add New button. The existing data clears from the fields for a new entry. Configuring Procedure Documentation and Findings

You can configure procedure documentation and procedure findings content in the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. The Procedure Documentation Config practice template allows you to configure procedure documentation and findings.
