Create a New NextGen Mail Message

From the main toolbar, select the Mailbox button. The NextGen Mailbox window appears. From the mailbox toolbar, select the New Message button. The New Message window appears. The Message tab displays two recipient fields: To NextGen and To Outlook. The field that is required is the one that is selected as the Default Mail Option in General User Preferences. Do one of the following: In the To NextGen field, double-click <<Double-Click to Select Mail Recipient(s)>>. From the message toolbar, select the Address button. The Address Book window appears. In the Show Users From field, select the desired Practice. Users, Security Groups, and Distribution Lists for the selected practice display. Create a Distribution List

Within NextGen Mail, you can create distribution lists of NextGen users and groups. After a distribution list has been created, users and groups can be added or deleted as needed. Select the Mailbox button on the main toolbar. The NextGen Mailbox window appears. Select the Distribution Lists button on the mailbox toolbar. The Distribution Lists Maintenance window appears. Select the OpenMenu button and select New. The New Distribution List window appears. Enter the name of the new distribution list and then select OK. Select the drop-down arrow in the Show Users From field to select a practice location where you want to select users and roles from. Select the users or roles from the Available Users and Groups window that you want to add to your distribution list. Select the left and right arrows to add or remove the users and groups to the Distribution List Members window. To save changes and close the window, select OK. NextGen Mail

NextGen® Enterprise PM includes a mail feature that enables you to send messages to, and receive messages from, other users in the practice. If your practice normally uses Outlook® for email, users can integrate their Outlook mail with their NextGen Mail so they have access to both in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Create a Distribution List

Within NextGen Mail, you can create distribution lists of NextGen users and groups to send messages to multiple recipients at once. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Do one of the following: From the main toolbar, select the Mailbox Null From the status bar at the bottom of the window, double-click the MailNull icon. Select Tasks > Advisor and then from the NextGen Email section, select the Unread link. The NextGen Mailbox window appears. Manage a NextGen Mail Message

You can view received and sent messages, create new messages, and add recipients for message delivery through NextGen Mail in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Do one of the following: From the main toolbar, select the Mailbox Null From the status bar at the bottom of the window, double-click the MailNull icon. Send a Mail Message to NextGen and Outlook Users

You can send a mail message to both NextGen users and Outlook users from within NextGen® Enterprise PM. When you create a new message using NextGen Mail, you can select recipients from the NextGen address book or the Outlook address book. From the main toolbar, select the Mailbox button.
