The Properties tab displays additional information about the encounter, but the fields that display this information cannot be edited.
The Properties tab includes the following read-only information:

| Checkin | Displays the date and time the encounter was created using the Checkin/Create Encounter process for individual appointment and group appointment in the Appointment Book. |
| Checkout | Displays the date and time the encounter was checked out using the Checkout process for individual appointment and group appointment in the Appointment Book. |
| Elapsed Time | Displays the amount of time elapsed between the Checkin/Create Encounter and Checkout processes for individual appointment and group appointment. |
| Encounter Date | Displays the original date and time for the encounter. This information will not change even if the Billable Date and Billable Time on the encounter are changed. |
| Locked By | If the encounter is locked in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, this displays how the encounter was locked. If the encounter was automatically locked by the system, it shows system. If the encounter was locked manually by a user, it shows the user's name. The lock prevents further modifications to the encounter.

| Locked | If the encounter is not locked in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, it shows No. If the encounter is locked, it shows Yes. |
| Locked Date | If the encounter was locked by the system, it shows system time-out. If the encounter was locked by a user, it shows the date and time. |
| Time Until Locked | Displays the amount of time remaining before the system will automatically lock the encounter. The time is displayed in days, hours, minutes, and seconds, for example, 4 Days 21 Hrs 16 Min 42 Sec. |
| Encounter ID | Displays the unique identifier for the encounter within the SQL database. |
| Statement Counter | Displays the number of statements that the encounter has generated. |
