Print Patient Photos

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Chart or Chart Lookup Chart Lookup icon. The Patient Lookup window opens. In the Search Criteria section, enter the patient's information, and select Find. Patient records that match the search criteria appear in the Matching Records section. Select the patient, and then select Open. The Patient Chart window opens. In the Chart Details tab, select open menu Open Menu icon and then select Open. The Scanning Device Input window opens. Modify Patient Information

You can modify and update the demographic information in a patient chart. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Chart or Chart Lookup Chart Lookup icon. The Patient Lookup window opens. In the Search Criteria section, enter the patient's information, and select Find. Patient records that match the search criteria, appear in the Matching Records section. Select the patient, and then select Open. The patient chart opens. In the Patient Information tab, select the Demographics tab and then select open folder Open Folder icon next to Name. The Modify Patient Information window opens. Update the desired fields. Open Previous Patient Records

When working with multiple patients, you can access a recently accessed patient chart without performing a chart lookup. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Chart or Chart Lookup Chart Lookup icon. The Patient Lookup window opens. In the Search Criteria section, enter the patient's information, and then select Find. Patient records that match the search criteria appear in the Matching Records section. Select the patient, and then select Open. The Patient Chart window opens. Select open menu Open Menu icon and select Access Previous Patient. The most recently opened patient chart list appears. Select the patient record you want to open from the list. Scan an Image to Add to the Patient Chart

Before you begin Ensure that you have access to a scanner and have scanning software on the workstation. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR and select a patient. Select an existing encounter from the Encounter History or create an encounter. To open the Images module, do one of the following: On the Top Toolbar, select the Images icon. On the main menu, select File > New > Image. The Open Image File window opens. Select either the Scan One or Scan All button.The Select Source window opens. Select the scanner name, and select Select.The Imaging module and your scanner's software window opens. To scan the image, follow the on-screen instructions on scanner window.After completion of scanning , the image appears in the Imaging module. Normalize Capitalization of the OCR Patient Demographic Information

Select the Lookup icon to access the Modify Patient/Person Information window. The Patient Lookup window opens. Enter search criteria for the a patient. From the Matching Records list, double-click the a patient. In the Update Patient Information window, right-click the square photograph area in the upper left and then select Open or New. From the Scanning Device Input window, select Open Menu >Acquire. From the ScanShell 800DX window, select the Custom Settings tab and do the following: Select Double Sided. Select Color. From the Resolution(dpi), select 600. From the Scan size, select Business card (90 x 55mm). Insert the driver's license in the scanner. Note: n the ScanShell 800DX window, the Paper sensor field glows in green, indicating that the inserted card is ready to scan. Select the Scan button.
