Add a Photo for a Patient or Other Person

You can add a photo to the demographic record for a patient or other person.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. From the main toolbar, select Lookup.
  3. In the People Lookup window, select New.
  4. In the Add Person Information window, right-click the photo field, and then select either New for a new scan or Open for an existing photo.
  5. In the Scanning Device Input window, place the ID card in the scanner and adjust the scan guide.
  6. Select the open menu icon, and then select Acquire.
    When the scanner has finished scanning, the image appears in the window.
  7. Optional: Rotate, crop, or adjust the brightness and contrast as needed.
    You can use the scanner's interface for more options.
    The image in Selected Segment appears on the Demographics tab.
  8. Select Save.
  9. To replace the image, right-click and select Delete.
