View the Status of Exported Laboratory Results

After you export any laboratory results, you can view the status of exported results in the Patient Portal Document History window. A patient can view the exported results on the Home page or Inbox in NextGen® PxP Portal.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR and select a patient.
  2. Open the Orders module.
  3. On the Orders Summary tab, expand Results (reported results - formatted) and select Patient Portal History Details from the Patient Portal list.

    The Patient Portal Document History window opens and displays the comments associated with the results and indicates if the patient has viewed the laboratory results on the NextGen® PxP Portal Home page.
