Sending Lab Results to NextGen Enterprise Patient Portal
Sending lab results to the NextGen® PxP Portal from the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Orders module gives patients timelier access to their lab results and enables you to process lab results more efficiently. To send lab results to NextGen® PxP Portal, your practice must be enrolled in NextGen Enterprise Patient Portal, and only patients with a completed enrollment status can receive results.
If your practice is not set up to use NextGen® PxP Portal, the Patient Portal button is hidden in the Results panel. If your practice is set up to use NextGen Enterprise Patient Portal, and the patient has not yet completed enrollment, the Patient Portal button is unavailable.
You can send lab order results from the Orders module with the following statuses:
- Signed off.
- Final.
