Export Manually Corrected Laboratory Results

You can manually correct results for completed laboratory orders and export the updated results to NextGen® PxP Portal.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR and select a patient.
  2. Open the Orders module.
  3. On the Orders Summary tab, select a completed laboratory order that has been sent to a performing entity.
  4. Expand Results (reported results - formatted).

  5. Select the New Results Entry tab.
    The order details appear.

  6. To update the flag of the selected order, select a flag from the Flag list.
  7. From the Result Status list, select Corrected, and then select Save.
  8. Select the Formatted Results tab and verify the changes.

  9. To validate the order, select Sign-off.
  10. To enable Patient Portal, select Refresh, and then select Patient Portal.
    The Patient Portal Document Export window opens. You can add comments about the corrected results in the right section of the window.

  11. To export the corrected laboratory results, select Send.
    The Sent confirmation window opens.
