	Appears when you select the Veteran check box for the patient on the Demographics tab of the Add/Modify Patient Information window.

Enrollment Status Indicators of Patients

NextGen® PxP Portal has the following enrollment status indicators. Status Icon Tool Tip Description Not enrolled Not Enrolled The patient is not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal. Not enrolled Aged Out The patient has aged out and the enrollment of guardian has been revoked. Pending Pending The practice has initiated the patient's enrollment, but the patient has not completed the enrollment. Completed Completed; Last Login Date MM/DD/YYYY Note: The last logon information appears only when the icon is available for selecting. The patient has completed the enrollment. Deactivated Deactivated The practice has deactivated the NextGen® PxP Portal account of the patient. If the account is activated again, the enrollment status changes to Completed. Patient Chart Lookup on the patient chart opens the Patient Lookup window. Enroll a Patient in NextGen® PxP Portal

If the Patient Portal trigger action is Enrollment, you can set up a NextGen® PxP Portal account for the selected patient through NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For more information on the enrollment process, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest NextGen® PxP Portal Provider Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Ask your system administrator which NextGen® Enterprise EHR template and field to use. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, select the template that contains the Patient Portal trigger, and then select OK. For more information, see Select a Template.. Select the Patient Portal trigger on the applicable field. The following actions are triggered depending on the patient status: If the patient status is Not Enrolled and all mandatory patient information fields are filled, a NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment invitation email is sent to the patient. Viewing Patient's NextGen® PxP Portal Enrollment Status

If the practice is part of NextGen® PxP Portal, you can view the patient's NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status on the Patient Information Card (PIC). If the patient is not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can send an enrollment invitation email. Note: The patient enrollment status indicator is available only when the NextGen® PxP Portal license is active. Viewing Demographics Information

The following patient demographic information appears on the Patient Information Bar in NextGen® Enterprise PM: Sex Note: Sex is abbreviated. You can hover over the abbreviation to view the full description. Date of Birth Age Note: In case of expired patients, (Deceased) appears instead of age. Person Number Medical Record Number (MRN) Other ID Number Other ID Number is based on the details in the External tab of the Modify Patient Information. A practice can configure the Patient Information Bar to display up to three additional demographic fields from among the following: Default Guarantor Preferred Language Credit Card On File Preferred Pronoun Primary Care Provider Gender Identity Current Gender Patient Status Note: The Enable patient status option must be enabled in Chart, in Practice Preferences. Add Demographics to Patient Profiles

You can add demographics such as the patient's general information, address, contact information, and insurance details. You can also specify if a person is a smoker or veteran on the Demographics tab of Add Person Information window. Additionally you can enroll the patient or person in the Enterprise Chart to view encounters from different practices in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Note: The optional and mandatory fields that appear on the Add Person Information window can be configured by your system administrator in Enterprise Preferences in File Maintenance. The mandatory fields appear in red color. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar select Lookup or People Lookup The Person Lookup window opens. Select New.
